[Sandalphon hadn't considered it, accustomed as he is to all islands sharing the same sky. This place is something else altogether, what with travel to and from the moon. How it works remains a mystery to him]
They seem capable of traveling much further than I thought possible.
[At least they're in the same airship on that matter, sort of]
Their technology certainly is impressive...in my homeland, dwarven airships can carry large numbers of people quite a fair distance through the sky. It's considered extremely advanced.
But here, traveling from world to world...it makes it all seem so small in comparison.
[She had no idea everything above the sky was so vast. That it can be navigated as if it were simply another ocean to travel is...a bit much.]
[Dwarven? How curious that is... By now, he accepts they're from drastically different realms, although he can't account for just how that can be. Perhaps one day he'll sort that out]
I'm accustomed to airships as well. It's the primary mode of transportation between islands in the Skies.
[At least they know the same mode of transportation. Not many seem to, and judging by the vehicles in this place, the Prismals wouldn't either]
The Skies may be vast, but to travel beyond them... I'd never have imagined.
I've been examined in such a way before, and it wasn't a kindness.
[He'd been subject to worse as well, and the Prismals hadn't tried testing him in the manner with which he was once familiar. Still, the reminder of old days leaves him uneasy.
They seem welcoming now, but he questions to what end.
Of course, he has no foundation on which to make any insinuations, and he shrugs his prior statement off]
I have no such plans either. It...wouldn't suit me.
[Look, it was very harrowing. She might've punched someone for bringing up her sexual history. She doesn't wanna remember.
So it's not entirely his fault.
But she's blaming him anyway. Secretly. Inwardly. A tiny bit.]
...right. [She's calm. She's composed. She's got this.] I suppose sticking to your boundaries is the only way around it. If they can't respect that, nobody would blame for you rebuking them.
[She gives her lower lip a tap with one of her fingers.]
No, it's...[...oh. There's some on her finger; is it coming off?] It's only lip gloss, but...I didn't know it came off so easily. I should take care of it in case people get the wrong impression.
[She's not a messy eater...really.]
You wouldn't happen to have a napkin or something of the sort, would you?
[Such is the life of a Primarch. His body is simply his energies manifested, and even his clothing and armor come with that. Of the few things he does keep on him, he's never thought to collect a napkin.
But surely with so many food stalls around...]
A moment.
[King of communication that he is, Sandalphon marches off with only these words as explanation]

I'm just grateful for the fact I'm not the only one who finds it strange. It would've made me feel a bit, well...old fashioned.

[Not that it concerns him anyway]
But I'd wager some have never so much as seen airships.

[How strange it is to once more find himself new to so much. A world where people can travel beyond the sky...what a marvel]
Well, local customs are as good a place to start as any.

[Nobody’s been outright malicious about it...not to her anyway. Just overly friendly.]
Though I can’t say I’ve any intention of embracing it wholeheartedly myself.
